Default 95 model sonata 2.0 ltr, 2 dead cylinders???? need help ASAP

hey guys
just signed up here after browing the net and finding this site

well ill start of with my problem or problems haha

i went on holidays for 10 days and when i got back i went to start my car which then sounded like a motor bike ??? i then found that cylinder 2 and 3 are dead and not running...

i have put a new computer, new coil packs, new crank angle censor and still no luck, one person thort the 2 middle injectors wernt getting pulse so therefore wernt working but the plugs smell like fuel?

the timing is spot on and ive tryed everything i can think of, it does have a broken air flow meter and throttle position switch but it still ran fine with the problems could these have anything to do with my new problem???

any other ideas or things i should check???

thanks guys, any help is much appreciated

a blown head gasket is my first guess. do a compression test to verify.

as a side note, what you have spent on parts would have paid for a proper diagnosis at a repair shop. sometimes it pays to pay. guessing is expensive.

If you know that the mass air flow sensor and the throttle position sensor are bad it makes logical sense to replace them first before going crazy replacing everything else in sight. As the previous poster stated, you would be wise to do some proper diagnosis of the problem rather than just throw parts and money at it.

Is the Check Engine Light on? If so, did you read the codes?
