Air Bag indicator lit
This is on my "new" 2007 Sonata. When I cranked it this morning, the airbag indicator on the instrument panel lit for the usual self test, then went off but immediately came back on. I killed the ignition and re-started it with the same results. When I got to my destination, I parked it for 4 hours. I hoped the problem would disappear, but of course it was still lit.
Yesterday, I loaded half my son's college dormitory room into the car and drove it home. There was no problem during that trek, but a TV and a dorm-fridge rode on the back seat. Is there any wiring or sensor that could have been damaged by that load?
I'll check for fuses this afternoon, but generally, if a fuse pops, something else caused it. Any other ideas before I use $20 of gas to go to the dealer?
