Any problems with Digital Dash Clock?
I just got a 2004 Sonata. The Dash Clock will not stay set. The battery is good has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone have any suggestion on how to fix the problem? It bugs me that the clock is centralized and it always has the wrong time!! Please help if you can.

Same thing with the dash clock here in Florida. I agree that it's probably NOT a fuse. The battery sounds like a probable cause. Does the car have some sort of separate circuit to feed the clock? It must be a very low voltage circuit to run the clock.

Did you get an owners manual with the car?
Have you read it?
That light is for the passenger side air bag. See the writing above the light that says "PASS AIR BAG"? There's a sensor in the seat that senses weight. If the seat is unoccupied or when you have a small child in the seat that doesn't weigh enough, the sensor turns off the passenger air bag so it won't deploy in an accident. If an heavier passenger (adult) sits in the seat the light will go out.

Passenger Air Bag Sensor Light
Thank you NovaResource. Yes, I had searched through the manual before posting the question. My daughter was sitting in the passenger seat when it happened the first time, but she does weigh right under 100 lbs. Maybe that was too light? Anyway the car dealer explained everything to me. This is my first car since I bought a 1999 Mazda 626...A lot has changed since then! Thank you for your time.

While having a child in the front seat is usually not a good idea, these sensors can turn off the air bag so they aren't killed by an opening air bag in the even of an accident. I would suggest keeping childern in the back seat whenever possible.
