Could I get your opinion on these service contract deals?
So I purchased the 2017 Hyundai Sonota Sport w/ Value Pack today and were offered and purchased the following plans in the finance office. The finance guy said the prices are Costco's and new grad's pricing.
1. USWM Service Contract: $995 bumper to bumper. Original was $2995 according to him
2. USWC Road Hazard: $319. Any short of damage to Tires/Wheels will be covered
3. Maintenance: $895 for 5years/60K miles
4. Key Replacement: $255 for 4 years unlimited key replacements
I can get refunded for the first three items listed.
May I know what you guys think whether or not what I was offered were fair priced? Thank you!

What is the manufacturer warranty coverage? You do understand that these coverages will run concurrently with the manufacturer's warranty?
In my experience all plans have fine print in the Road Hazard that relieves them of replacing tires and wheels if you have to drive any distance on them without air. Just stopping from speed will likely void the coverage. Also in my experience over 40 years is that all these plans are a waste of money. Just start putting money away for service that isn't covered under the warranty. If you are paying for these as part of the loan, they are costing you much more than the prices you wrote in your post.

Manufacturer bumper to bumper warranty should be good enough ..
don't buy another warranty to cover your new car
Road hazard will probably never happen .. another fee not necessary
Maintenance?? What does it cover? Oil and filter changes? .. Is it worth it?
Seems like the car stealership has pull another one over on the customer
But, if you are stuck with it then just hope it all works out for the best
