Default cutting out while driving

1999 model, it cuts out once per trip, always at low speed pressing on the accelerator, I hear the electrics go off and oil+battery light on dash just like when starting, it sometimes comes back to life after a second while coasting but if not then it takes a few minutes to restart when stationary.

I've replaced spark plugs but theres no change. There was a transmission fluid leak at the same time this started happening but that was fixed and the cut out problem still happens. I had a mechanic look at it but he didnt know, Any ideas? TIA

Any ideas?
I start by having somebody inspect, clean, tighten and maybe even replace the battery cables. Total loss of power throughout the car is not an ignition related matter.

Does this TSB describe your problem?
