Dome light won't turn off

Well, if the switch is set to "on" then I hope the light would stay on
If it is on door and the light stays on
then the sensing switch on the door is possibly letting power to the lamp.
Or there is a short in the wiring
My car doesn't have that problem but I leave it in the off position anyway
