Electronic glitches
'16 Sonata Hybrid SE, 62k miles, 2nd owner. I've had problems with a low pressure dashboard warning light coming on occasionally with No oil pressure problem. It is not unique, but the dealer is clueless on how to remedy. Naturally. Will see if a Recall will happen. Also Hybrid warning came on, too. Nothing wrong, I have seen those come on with a Toyota hybrid, same circumstances, so no panic. Shut off engine, wait a bit and all is normal. It sounds like my car has some electrical false alarm problems. No real need to invest $$$$ to diagnose. And going to a dealership to fix a "no longer under warranty" car? One $165 code read, and misdiagnosed and BS'd, I gave them their one and only chance. Car has never been in an accident. Has anyone had problems with all these glitches? Or is Hyundai just not comparable to Toyota's and Honda's when it comes to reliability and build?
I have 2013 sonata gls 2.4 and i bought it with 135000 miles on it in 2017.. it now has 235,000 miles on it ...since i have had it it has had some kind of electrical problems.. radio will turn off out of no where.. when i put key in ignition it beeps... Then others it doesn't make a.sound..(the dig dig dig...beeping) this past week it hasnt wanted to start.. it was making a awful noise.. starter and battery are bad .. something dont even sound right... electrical problems..to starter bad and battery...
There is now a Class Action Lawsuit on certain Hyundai and Kia models. Check online.
I think anyone who takes the time to comment on this forum probably keeps a good eye on routine maintenance issues. And can use tools and read instructions, as well. All of these particular issues are online. No more hiding, lying and excuses.

From experience, you would be surprised how many folks ignore notices of problems, hoping they would go away.
Examples, "I have had this problem for a few months now," tells me a lot.
Also ,,,that manual in the glove box,, that is to have something to read when the tow truck is coming to get you and your vehicle/
Not too many owners bother to read that and some don't even realize it is in there and yet there is lots of good info on how to take care of their vehicle, so many problems can be avoided.
The higher cost vehicles also have service departments, maybe the difference is they take the time to make sure their investment receives regular maintenance, which is more than just oil changes.
