anyone having trouble finding this model in black? live in jacksonville fl. have been waiting 6 weeks for dealer to get vin # from factory.

 

I had trouble getting mine in sliver. They are hard to locate and dealers won't swap since they sell fast. I even had a dealer lie and say nobody had one on the east coast and none were coming in. Then I surfed around and found one at a dealer about 25 miles from my house. I went down and bought it a few days later. The issue is Hyundia is making so very few of the 2.0 and when they come in they sell fast. In fact the other day when I was getting my car. A trailer came in with 2 of the Hybrid sonata's. They both sold before they could get them off the trailer. Two people saw them on the highway and followed the trailer.

If I had to do it all over again I wouldn't have purchased the 2.0 turbo. I've owned the car for 2 weeks and I've had it in my driveway one night. There are so many steering issues with this car in fact it's been back to the dealer twice. They're going to have a major recall on this model soon according to what the dealer told me. They gave me a rental sonata gls and limited. I've had no issues with those models. In fact the limited is black and it looks very nice maybe you might want the limited.

Hey guys, I was just wondering if you were saying that the problems exist only on the SE version and not the limited 2.0T?

 

The problem exists more on the SE model. However they have had issues with others models. I've been driving a limited as a rental for almost 2 weeks and it seems fine to me. I also drove a Sonata GLS as a rental and that one seemed fine.

 

2011 Limited 2.0T, Had it two weeks so far. All is good.
