Headlight Removal
Hi everyone. I have a 2011 Sonata GLS that has a cracked headlight. I would like to replace it myself but I can't find any tutorials to perform the task. Can someone point me in the right direction. Thanks

1. Remove front Bumper:
• Put on gloves to protect your hands.
• When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape to prevent damage.
• Take care not bend or scratch the cover and other parts.
a. Remove the mounting clips.
b. Remove the radiator upper cover mounting clips.
c. After loosening the front bumper side’s mounting screw, then disconnect the side’s.
d. Remove the front bumper after pull out the front bumper.
e. Disconnect the connector (A).
2. Loosening the head lamp mounting bolts (3EA) and disconnect the head lamp connector.
Then, remove the head lamp assembly (A).
• Put on gloves to protect your hands.
• When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape to prevent damage.
• Take care not bend or scratch the cover and other parts.
b. Remove the radiator upper cover mounting clips.
c. After loosening the front bumper side’s mounting screw, then disconnect the side’s.
d. Remove the front bumper after pull out the front bumper.
• When you pull out the front bumper, the font bumper could be damaged by the projection (A).
e. Disconnect the connector (A).
2. Loosening the head lamp mounting bolts (3EA) and disconnect the head lamp connector.
Then, remove the head lamp assembly (A).
- Take care not to scratch the head lamp lens or fender.
Take care that holding clip (A) is not to be damaged.
