Can some one tell me how to do a direct power connection for a Sirius dock unit in a 2003 Sonata? I tried to direct connect the Sirius docking station to the back of the lighter by spicing into the blue and green wires coming of the rear of the lighter. The result was I had power to the Sirius radio until I turned on the lights. I would also be open to possible splicing into the power lines on the radio if someone knows what they are.

 

I did a fuse tap. My XM head unit has a pause feature - and I hated turning the ignition off and loosing my paused radio program.. With it on a "always live" circuit - I can pause my show, do my errand, come back and resume right where I left off!
