I have a Hyundai sonata 2008 with a factory radio that can play mp3 cps but its not a cd changer. I wanted to hook up my iPod as an aux. I looked online for aux connecter and i found the pxaux but they discontinued them. I was wondering if it is possible to run the iPod directly in to the amp while still leaving the deck connected. If yes how do I check the connections on the amp and are their schematics. Also will I be able to control the audio volume using the deck?

If you have a better way of altering to allow iPod playback please tell me. thanks in advance

 

I just purchased this Amazon.com: Scosche FM-MOD02 Universal Audio Input FM Modulator for iPod, Satellite Radio or Portable Music Player: Car Electronics and will be installing this weekend. It goes between the antenna and the radio.

 

I completed the install this evening. For only $32, I wish I would have got this a long time ago. It seems to work very well.
