Default keyless entry remotes

I bought a used 2006 sonata and was told that they didn't have the remotes for it. I want to get some but I question myself, Do all of the sonatas of that year come with keyless entry. I'd believe that my car is supposed to have them because there is only one keyhole in the car..Can anyone help me with this....

I don't know for sure, but in the U.S. I'd be shocked if you could find a Sonata that didn't have keyless entry. I think they have all come with that for some time. It's been standard on U.S. Elantras since 2001 I believe.

Done the same here. Got a used 06 and need remotes. Fortunately,we actually have a remote. it's just not programmed. Only a dealer can program a remote in 06. And models before that you could do it yourself, with various methods. You'll need to order a fob from a dealer and have them program it when you get it.

I have the same problem. I just bought a 06 Sonata with no remote. If I were to go to the dealership and had them sell me a remote and then program it for me, how much do you think I would be looking at.
