P0441 Evaporative Emission Control System...

I just got a diagnostic for my 2002 Hyundai Sonata with this code coming off my check engine light. I've looked around and it seems to be somewhat common but I can't find anything about how to fix it or how much it might cost to fix. If anyone can point me in the right direction or help me out, I would very much appreciate it.

Thanks Nova. It appears that I probably need a new purge control valve. I'm don't know very much about cars so do you know if this is what I might be looking for? http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/rafr...989420-3731618

Appreciate the help.

The part you is linked to is a CCV (Canister Close Valve), CCV is used for self test of EVAP system... You want a "Purge Solenoid"..

Just go to your local Hyundai Dealer, and buy there. You'll have part today during your lunch break, no overpriced shipping/handling/insurance to be concerned about.

Part is same number at Kia dealer for the Optima too..

Then send me your old part for proper disposal :)
