Default Possible Speed Sensor Failure

Does anyone know where the speed sensor is? I am hoping its not on the internal crank.

There are several "speed sensors" that measure the crankshaft, the transmission, and the wheel. I believe they are all relatively easy to get to. What year is your car, what engine, and what transmission (manual or auto)? Do you have ABS?

And what symptoms are you seeing that make you think the sensor is bad?
