My wife has a 2007 Sonata, 142,000 Kms. Last week the battery was dead, so dead the clock even stopped working. We had it boosted and replaced the original battery. Everything works fine except for the radio. A service man at our local dealership said he had to reset the radio and did this by pulling out the yellow "delivery breaker" and leaving it for five minutes. The radio still did not work. He said it is not repairable and I should just go and buy a cheap radio to replace my original one. Any suggestions?

 

It's possible the original radio died. Did you check the fuses first?
If the radio is dead, try searching for a used one just like it on eBay and replacing it yourself.
