stalling
03 sonata 2.4 stalls after driving a short time then will start but stalls as soon as you hit the gas. If you wait like 5 min it is fine and drives ok. 2 codes come up a po102 maf circuit low input. p0335 crankshaft position sensor a malfunction. I replaced the crank sensor last summer. Is there any way to make sure they are bad or do i have to change them both, a couple hundred doller hit to the wallet. or could one of them be bad and causing the other to throw a code?
The MAF is probably the culprit, it shouldn't effect the crankshaft position sensor. A MAF can cost $200 to $300, but it's easy to put in. Is this a recent code scan? You can look for intake leaks, this would give you the same MAF code, maybe some broken rubber?
Yeah read it this afternoon. Ill ck the vacume lines before spending the money on the maf. Just hate to spend that kind of money and then still have the same problem. I took the maf out yesterday and used some maf cleaner on it hoping that was it but of course it wasn't
