Since I brought Terre 5 years ago it’s hard also had an issue with the check engine light coming on when I overtake on the highway or travel at high speeds. Even with the codes no mechanic has been able to pin point why it happens. However, now I have started getting more issues.

When I am driving it will suddenly lose power if I change down a gear or pump the accelerator it returns to normal. It only seems to happen when the temp gauge gets to half way (could be a coincidence). I have it serviced regularly and change the fuel filter more than I should. Again, to date I haven’t found a mechanic that can find the issue. Mostly due to the fact it doesn’t happen when you only drive it for 10 mins it happens after half hour or so.

So the other day. It was hot a one and I had the aircon on high.. it lost power like it does but this time the temp gauge went up quickly so I pulled over. I was 10 min from town so I once it cooled down I drove it with the aircon off. Nothing happened it drove fine.

I’ve been driving it without the aircon ro see if that is the issue. All was fine for a few days then it started to lose power again. So I’m baffled again.

I’ve also notice the temp gauge is not registering for at least 15 into a drive. Can’t be sure if it was going that prior. I do check the gauge regularly due to being paranoid now but I can’t say if it worked as soon as car started.

It’s like it’s possessed haha. I do love the car otherwise it’s just getting a bit scary to drive. Can anyone offer any insight.
