Default 07 Tiburon GT/LTD Infinity Stereo ipod hookup

Does anybody have any suggestions on how I would go about hooking up my ipod to my stereo. I've done some research online and realize that the Infinity stereo doesnt have a direst ipod hookup, nor does it have any outputs on the back of the unit that will enable me to hook up my ipod. I dont want to purchase one of those hook ups where you have to find a FM station because those arent very good. Id like to find out a way to keep the stock unit, and hook up my ipod for a fairly decent price. Thanks for reading my post.

Unhappy I have the same problem.

I would love to know if there even ARE any ways to hookup an ipod to run through the speakers directly. I have the FM transmitter but I absolutely hate it. It is so staticy and takes away from the sub I have as well as the quality speakers Infinity used.

Default Only has a 6-disc

My Tiburon only has the 6 disc CD changer, it does NOT have the tape player or anything. Would those things on Amazon work?

Your's doesn't have a tape deck? Interesting. My 2004 GT with the infinity 6-disc has a tape deck.

If you don't have a tape deck, then no, these won't work. You'll need an aftermarket head unit then.

Unhappy I don't think I have one.

Unfortunately I don't :/ Mine is the GT Limited and apparently there is no way at all to play your ipod. Im not aware of any tape decks or other outlets either. and apparently there are no RCA outputs or anything on the back of the radio.

Hey guys, I started this thread a year ago, and about 3 months ago I just purchased a Sony xnv-770bt in-dash dvd head unit for a decent price from a going out of business sale at a local stereo shop. They installed it, and it looks great and is everything that I expected out of the unit. It has navi, and an ipod hook-up, looks great in the dash, and sounds even better then the stock 6 disc infinity system.....my advice to to do something similiat to what I did. I also put in some gauges on the drivers side pillar. I put in an oil and voltmeter gauge. It looks terrific. I had them professionally installed. The mechanic knew exactly how to mold the gauge harness onto the pillar, im very satisfied with the look......I have a 07 gt lmt by the way....good luck to you folks...
