I got out of it and hit the bottom the doors lock and the alarm set. Woke up the next morning and went to get in the car and it would not unlock or disarm. I know the remote is working because of the light on top of it. My wife said this happen before and she call hyundai road side assistance. They told her how to reset it that was when it was under warranty. Now they tell us that it needs to be taken to the deal ship and won't tell us how to reset it.

Page 1-5 of your owners manual:

NOTE:

Install a new battery within 30 seconds after removing the old one. If installing a new battery takes more than 30 seconds, take the following steps.

1) Turn the ignition key to the "ACC" position.

2) Make sure that the turn signal lamps blink once by pushing the "LOCK" or "UNLOCK" button on the transmitter.

If that doesn't work, then you need a Hyundai dealer to reprogram the remotes. Be sure to bring all remotes with you.
