Default 2003 Tiburon Thermostat Replacement

Hi2u viewers. I am trying to help out my girlfriend, and i have little to basic knowledge on cars. Current project....2003 Hyundai Tiburon 2.0 4cylinder getting a little warm. just rolled over 100,000 miles. Is that alot for this car? I just got the 3 serpentine belts replaced yesturday which were extremely wore. It started heating up when the symptoms were starting to show with the wore out belts. I was in hopes the belts were to wore to turn the water pump. However, I didnt get that lucky. Today I went and bought a thermostat, and fitting gasket. i got a simple list of instructions, but they weren't quite enough to help me get the job done.
  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions Section.
  2. Drain the coolant down to thermostat level or below.
  3. Remove the coolant outlet fitting and gasket.
  4. Remove the thermostat.
  5. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure. Can anybody help me give me details that would give me a better informed way of understanding what im doing?
