how do you remove the ac compressor belt on a 2001 tiburon

 

I believe you have to remove the alternator belt first .

1. Loosen the belt tension on the alternator.




2.Disconnect the magnetic clutch connector.

3. Lift up the vehicle.

4.Loosen the locking nut of the tensioner.



5.Sufficiently lessen the tension of the compressor drive belt by turning the tension adjusting bolt counterclockwise.

6.Lower the vehicle.

7.Derail the compressor drive belt from the compressor pulley.
