Default adjustable cam gear

HI all,
i'm gonna be getting my timing belt done in the couple weeks, and was going to put an adjustable cam gear on there while i was getting it done, but i havn't heard anything good or bad about the gears. Just looking for some advice before i go ahead and buy one. thanks

Default RE: adjustable cam gear

more than likely it will be of little benifit for you..

They are typicaly only "nesicalrly" or "properly used" on cars with heavily modified head(s) and with an agresive style cam...
They allow for the fine adjustment of a single camshaft inrelation to the other cam, and the crank..

Basicaly save your money it wont provide any gains in HPunless if you have built the head..
