Default Electrical Issue...i need all the help i can get

OK so my friend has a 2003 Tiburon GT with the infinity sound system....we tried to install a new aftermarket radio today and while we were taking the wire clips out of the back of the stock radio we saw a small spark....we didnt think anything of it...and we went ahead and wired the new wire harness and the aftermarket radio harness. we go and put everything back together and test out that we did the wiring correcty and try to power up the new radio and we get nothing...so we try a few things and nothing is working we check the fuses and nothing either...so we go and put back the stock radio and that wont even power on now...then we later realized that his dome lights are not working...power locks are not working and neither is the alarm and harzards when the car is off...is there a central fuse that controls all of the interior things that is connected to the radio...what could it be...short mabye....please help asap...this is not my car this for a friend of mine...hes not happy..haha

Check both fuse #18 labeled "ROOM LP" and #27 labeled "AUDIO".

Also check fuse #2 labeled "AMP". Unlike the other two fuses, I don't think any other systems are shared with fuse #2 but you will not have sound if the amplifier fuse is blown as well.

I guess I wasn't clear enough. Yes, I am referring to fuses located in the box under the driver's side dash. Here is a schematic (page 6-21 from the owners manual) that will explain locations. Check fuses labeled AMP, ROOM LP and AUDIO. Yes, these route to a master link found in the box under the hood, but so do a lot of other systems that I will assume are still working.

P.S. Make sure you replace the fuses with ones of proper amperage rating. ROOM LP and AUDIO take 10A fuse (which should be red), AMP takes a 20A fuse (which I think is yellow).
