fuel filter and check engine trouble

Can anyone tell me where to find my fuel filter in my car. i have a 2003 tiburon v6 2.7. Many people have told me its in the gas tank, so i look and theres no filter there. The filter needs changed badly, and i believe thats why my check engine light is coming on.I plugged in my little computer and i cam up with three engine codes, P0507, P0121, and P0101 and they all were saying (pending). So any help would be greatly appreciated.

RE: fuel filter and check engine trouble

The filter IS in the tank, attached to the fuel pump. It's just a "sock" filter. Ther is no "in-line" filter.

P0101 = Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit Range/Performance Problem
P0121 = Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Range/Performance Problem
P0507 = Idle Control System RPM Higher Than Expected

As you can see, none of the codes has to do with a dirty fuel filter. Get your MAF cleaned and have the TPS and IAC checked.
