I'm having circuit city install a remote car starter for me. They said they need a copy of my key to stick under the dash or something to trick the computer. For the by-pass or some crap. Anyways, I have no clue what happened to it. There isn't anything special about the keys right? like no chips or anything? My question is, can I goto a local place and get another one made and not have it cause me problems? Thanks

There's no chip in the keys of US-spec Tiburons. Circut City doesn't know what they are talking about. Don't let them butcher your car. Go somewhere that knows what they are doing.
