I replaced the stock michelins after 60k with BF goodrich traction TA V rated performance tires and they are soooo loud I have to replace them. Any suggestions on a good QUIET tire for my 03 Tibby? I am now scared to spend any more money till I find some I am sure will be quiet. I have the stock rims 205/55 r 16 that came on the car, I don't want to change the size, I just want high performance tires that don't sound like 4X4 truck tires!!

 

I've got NEXEN N3000 tires on my car, had them for about 10k now, wear is very good, and they are damn quiet. I got them pretty cheap too even for 17". Im sure they make them in 16" too.

 

Both my husband and I have Toyo Proxes 4, and we both love them, they are quiet, and high performance. I love how they handle on bends at faster speeds, they stick right to the road. They are pretty good on wet roads also, we have no complaints about them, and we have probably about 10-15 000 kms on each set. And I'd probably go with the same on my next set!

 

I agree with stacey, I have the same toyo's on my 18's.. No complaints and worth the money. you should consider getting some rims too!

 

u should have stayed with oem (original equipment manufacturer) or low pros

 

I've just had Toyo Proxie T1-R's fitted and I'm impressed with the noise reduction over the stock Nexan 2000's
