Default Idle/RPM Problem

I recently bought an 06 Tiburon GS. This of coarse has the I4 2.0L engine with a 5 speed manuel transmission. Within the last week, when driving around, when I press the clutch in the RPMs shoot up (sometimes 5,000+)! However, this doesn't happen all the time. It is mostly at low speeds and in 2nd gear. I was wondering if you guys might know what is wrong? I did throw two OBD codes. The codes where p0170 and p0171. Both of these codes lead me to the Oxygen or MAF sensors but I do not feel the sensors are the problem. I think that possibly it is the idle control switch. Perhaps the fact that there is too much or too little oxygen entering the engine, at idle, is causing the sensors to trip. Your insite is very, very appreciated. Thank you very much for your time.
