does the standard stereo have a line in at the back?
my mother picks up her new car tomorrow and its her birthday today so was guna get her an mp3 player and hook it up to the line in if it has it. if so is it an easy job to get the HU out? havnt worked with these before. any help is much appreciated.

I don't believe it does. The HU is not hard to remove. Basically you open the ash tray and pull thebezel away from the dash at the bottom where the ashtray is. It's held on with clips. Then disconnect a few wiring connectors. Once that bezel is off there are 4 screws to remove and the HU slides out.
