Default timing belt

ok,,so i've been hearing a lot about how i should get my timing belt changed before it breaks since it will cause more damage then just a broken belt. how many of you have done this, any special tools needed, how hard is it to time. should i just get the belt or the tensioner pulley and what ever else comes in a kit. i'm pushing about 90K on my car and guessing this is around its breaking point.

It should have been changed at 60k.
Get the belt, tensioner and idler pulleys, and when your in there check your water pump for signs of leakage, if not replace it anyways.
Its easier then having to tear it all back down a few months down the road if it starts leaking.
