Valor DTS 603w In Dash DVD Player
I boughta Valor DTS603w in-dash DVD player. After being professionally installed,my Speedometer and odometer stopped working, but when I turned the Unit Off everything worked fine. I had my car checked with Hyundai and all they could find was the radio causing the problem. Is this possible or what. Now that my Kennwood CD player is back in the car the speedometer and odometer work fine. Circuit city blew my Kennwood CD player it only works with a CD in and you still can't change tracks, volume or anything.

no I Live In WV. I Read This In Another Forum: I had the same problem installing an Alpine stereo in my fiancée's 2007 Tiburon. The solution I found was to disconnect the amplifier turn-on wire (Blue-White on the Alpine and White-Orange on the Tiburon). Since there is no external amplifier in her Tiburon the wire was not necessary and doing that solved the problem. Will This Work.

it probably will cause when i looked at the schematic i noticed that the speed sensor signal goes to the amp and the radio, so some how it's interfering with the speedo. didn't actually investigate what's really happening. try it though it might work.
