Hi,
I would like to get taller and wider tires on my 2005 tucson. right now it looks all wimpy with 215/65R15... Can anyone with knowledge of tires suggest what size i should go for. i dont need to go extreme it just doesnt look right. Thank You!

 

You don't want taller tires because it will throw off the speedometer and odometer. Also, too tall will cause interference. If you want a slightly wider tire you can go with the tire size that is standard on V6 Tucsons: 235/60-16

 

I found some 265/60 -16 for a real good price. would those work? I know I sound stupid but Im just some gal who wants better looking tires. I never had to worry before, never had ones that looked so akward

 

The 265/60-16 tires is over 1.5" taller and 2" wider. Way to wide and too tall. And I highly doubt the tire woudl fit on the 6.5" wide factor wheel. It's just too wide.
