Default 2012 tucsun wiring issues

I have a2012 tucsun, a month ago in the heat tried using my( after market) remote starter and the vehicle would not start, had it flat bedded was told it was starter, but they reset it and it was fine, next hot day same thing, but now door locks not working and interior light I called remote starter place and they came to help me reset it and book it in, was there 5 hrs not an issue with starter but it was cloudy, next hot day again no start this time no door locks or stereo they again bailed me out and reset it, next day they removed it, turns out had nothing to do with starter after all, my electrical is messed up today door locks and interior lights won't work, and every time you turn off car and back on you have to reset air conditioning and tripometer, it's booked in next Monday, this is so frustrating and the money out of pocket because of all the running around. I have parked it with 3000 Kms after 9 months and am driving my 2004 Santa fe how sad is that anyone else having any electrical issues? Funny this all started after the recall jobs were done!

Let's see, you're having electrical issues, specifically with the starter. Hmmm...

I guess I never wrote that good, because as I stated I had starter removed and am still having same issues, dealership has it booked in to look at electrical issues not starter related, all I was asking was to see if anyone has had any of the same issues thanks!

I guess I never wrote that WELL, because what I was trying to say was, if sombody hacked into your wiring harness to add a remote starter and then hacked into the harness again to remove thet starter, I'm going to guess they did damage to the wiring harness.

Oh I totally agree with what you are saying ( thanks for grammar check) the dealership has already looked that over that's why I put it was not starter after all, but I will mention that to them to go over it one more time, locks were acting up prior but we did not have many hot days. This morning everything working, 4 o'clock no locks or interior lights, everyday it's different things but only in the heat. Can't wait till Monday when it goes in.

I feel for you. Electrical problems are probably the worst things to track down. Sorry I can't be any help.

okay so i pick it up after 1/2 hr of them having it only to find out, that the shipping fuse was never removed and tripping everything, they refunded me for the bill i got last month when they accused the starter (which i just had removed), needless to say i am being reimbursed for out of pocket charges and time in lue of oil changes, fine by me, just glad i can trust my brand new vehicle again, thank you novaresource for suggestions along the way who would have guessed that.

I've heard of that problem before but didn't link the two. Glad you got it figured out.
