Default 2016 Tucson Limited acceleration

Probably answered many times...When accelerating onto a highway I feel the engine/turbo stutter. Feels as if the turbo is at 3psi at 3000rpms, 7psi at 4000rpms then 15psi at 5000rpms. I’m exaggerating a little but this is how it feels. Not smooth at all. Just had fuel system cleaned at Valvoline but this issue has been around well before that.

any ideas on where to start? Car is out of warranty with 48,000miles on it.

You might look for any loose intake hose clamps between turbo and engine allowing air to escape, also make sure wastegate for turbo isn't stuck in open position directing turbo boost out through exhaust instead of into engine.

Thank you. I didn’t think of loose clamps or wastegate issues
