Question 2017 Hyundai Tucson flat spot from dead start

I have had felt a flat spot starting out from a dead stop. When hitting the gas it jerks hard and then acts normal. If you start out at a very slow roll it does not happen. When we had it in for the 30K service
I asked the service manager if it might be common problem that could be remedied with a software update, he told me it was something we would have to live with.
Does anyone know if that is true or can it be fixed? We are taking it back for the Anti-Theft software update and if possible would like to have this taken care of.

Any input on this will be appreciated.

Pretty sure what you are describing is called hesitation.
There are some reasons for that and I have a problem with a Service Manager telling you ,you have to live with it.

If you can't get any satisfaction from that first place, try another dealership and hope the first manager retires before you do.

Smile Hesitation, now I know what to call it

Tanx hanky. I knew that it had to be something other than my imagination. I believe that it is a fly by wire throttle so there should be a way to dial it in. I will try again to have that addressed when I go in for the for the anti-theft fix. I live between 2 dealers I have a chance to get that fixed. Thanks again for the insight.
