6 cylinder vs. 4 cylinder

Is the 4 cylinder that much better on gas than the 6 cylinder Tuson

Not really.
2008 Tucson:
- 2.0L 4-cyl auto FWD = 19 mpg / 25 mpg / 22 mpg (City / Highway / Combined)
- 2.7L V6 auto FWD = 18 mpg / 24 mpg / 20 mpg (City / Highway / Combined)
