Exterior door handle replacement
Hi guys,
My first post here.
Right hand drive 2009 Tuscon. LH rear door.
Are there any links/drawings to help with the replacement of the rear exterior door handle as one of mine has snapped off and
i would like to see what I’m getting into when I try and replace it.
cheers..

As you can imagine, the interior door panel will need to be removed.
The panels are held in place by plastic retainers that pull off the door. If you don't have the tool to do this a wide piece of metal, like a putty knife will work..There will also be a few screws holding the arm rest that will need to be removed and those are usually hidden by buttons or plastic coverings.
If vehicle has electric door locks, you will need to be careful with the wiring attached to the panel. When you have all the retainers out just lift the door panel off the door and set it aside., no need to disconnect any wiring. The fasteners that hold the door handle assy should be visable now. Assembly is in the reverse order.
