I bought a brand new Tucson 2009 last year. I have only been able to fill the tank full about four times. I have brought it to the dealership 3 times now, the first and second time they replaced the gas valve, third time they removed the gas tank and replaced a charcol filter.

It goes back in tomorrow, and I can't understand why they can't figure out this issue. I asked if anyone else was having this problem, they stated no. I have tried different gas stations to fill up, but every time it gets to the half tank it stops. You can fill it more but you have to let it drizzle in, otherise it automatically stops.

Very Frustrated. Any ideas?

 

1 of the newer model Tucson I think it is has the fill vent as part of the tank, and tank needs to be replaced.. was brought up at shool recently..

Go under and pull vent line off near tank, try to fill...
