I just bought a used Tuscon 2016 SE. There was a clear carfax and the dealer stated no accidents. My question is when you tap on the fender in front of the doors/ over wheel area it sounds very solid compared to some SUVs that sound a little more hollow at that place. Seems to be even on each side though. Is this normal for this car? I just want to make sure I wasn't screwed over and the car was in an accident then they put some bondo under there. Please help! Thanks!!

 

Get a magnet and see if it sticks. If it does it's metal, if it doesn't it's thick bondo.
