replacing filters on 30,000 service
It was suggested by dealer to change my air and cabin filter at 23k mile service. But I looked up in book and air and cabin filter are part of 30k mile service. Afraid of causing damage to car, I did replace the air filter, but noted that I would like to still have a new one during 30,000 service. I held off on changing cabin filter.
I am now planning on taking car in for 30,000 service. The filter I payed for at 23k is probably still good. Is it acceptable for me to ask for a new filter and ask to save the one I recently purchased to use later. |
Nab u won't mess anything up. It's a filter...if its dirty change it of not yiur good...

$370 is not cheap. I just want to get the most for my money. And just because I purchased a filter for 20 something dollars at dealers suggestion less then a year ago. But that should not prevent me from getting another new filter now.

Thanks for the response. First time in this forum....I was looking to assign you points, kudos or a thumbs up, but do not see a button for that anywhere. Happy New Year.
