replacing filters on 30,000 service
It was suggested by dealer to change my air and cabin filter at 23k mile service. But I looked up in book and air and cabin filter are part of 30k mile service. Afraid of causing damage to car, I did replace the air filter, but noted that I would like to still have a new one during 30,000 service. I held off on changing cabin filter.
I am now planning on taking car in for 30,000 service. The filter I payed for at 23k is probably still good. Is it acceptable for me to ask for a new filter and ask to save the one I recently purchased to use later.

$370 is not cheap. I just want to get the most for my money. And just because I purchased a filter for 20 something dollars at dealers suggestion less then a year ago. But that should not prevent me from getting another new filter now.
