Default Snow Tire Question

Hey All
Just bought a 2010 Tucson and I'm wondering if the snows and black rims I had from a 2003 Altima would work? Im pretty sure the bolt diameter is correct on the rims but the tires are 215/60 R16 and my tires on the Tucson are 225/55 R18. Too much of a diffeerence?

Assuming the snow tire rims fit on the car including adequate offset, the snow tires are about 5" smaller in circumference. So long as you replace all four corners, you'll be OK except you will traveling ~6% slower than the speedometer will indicate. For winter driving, I would give it a try but I'm not sure how the TSC and ABS systems will react with the smaller tires in place.

That's too small in my opinion. The tire is almost 2" shorter. If anything you would want a taller tire, not shorter.
6% is far too much. I don't like any more than a max of 2% difference.
Plus, the Tucson is much heavier than your Altima. The snow tire load rating might not be high enough for the heavier Tucson.
