Default TAIL RH fuse blows when trunk is opened

I have a Hyundai Tucson 2009 2.0L right hand drive and the TAIL RH fuse blows everytime the trunk is opened with the headlights on, if the headlights are off the fuse does not blow. The fuse will also blow if the rear windscreen wiper is used when the headlights are on and does not blow if the headlights are off. I have replaced the fuse many times and still happens every time and I have no idea where to start and its really confusing me because it happens when the trunk is opened and that doesn't really make sense that will make a fuse blow. I also think this fuse controls the cluster lights and gear selector lights because when that fuse blows they go out as well. Hopefully thats enough information for you to try and help me diagnose this problem. Thanks

Check and replace all the rear brake light bulbs and then see if the fuse still blows. If not then problem was in one of the bulbs. If it still blows fuse then replace the shift interlock solenoid.

I don't understand how the shift interlock solenoid could be causing this problem if you could explain that would be good before I waste my time figuring out how to replace it. Thanks

Something to consider,
IF,,,,,,,,,,,The license plate is mounted on the trunk lid, and the light to lite the plate is there also, there may be a problem in the harness that feeds the license plate light .
Sometimes constant flexing of the harness and the wires inside can create problems that would not ordinarily be seen without opening the harness and actually looking at the wires for any rub thru problems.
This is not uncommon and also can bring on problems with the rear (windscreen) wiper.

I agree with Hanky.
Moving the trunk lid will flex the harness
And many times there is a fray at the place where it bends
Would take a closer look.

It interferes with a lot of fuses. So try disconnecting it not actually removing it to first see if it is faulty before removing it
