Perhaps I'm being a bit dense here, but I can't seem to put on the aftermarket wiper blades for my 2008 Veracruz. Frankly, I can't seem to tell how an aftermarket blade would fit into the arm.

Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a special adapter? Do I just need to take it to the dealer?

I'm using size 24 and 20 blades for the driver/passenger respectively, per the recommendation from the guy at the autoparts store.

I believe the Veracruz and Santa Fe are similar to my Tucson when it comes to the rear wiper blade. Unfortunately, the aftermarket blades don't fit the arm. You have to order a factory one. One thing you could try is to just use the rubber blade from the replacement and slide it in the original mount.

If you think that's strange, you should see the rear wiper setup on the Hyundai Entourage and Kia Sedona minivans. Replacing the blade means replacing half the wiper arm assembly.
