In the St. Louis area I have only seen one ad for the 2006 4-door Accent and none for the 3-door. For being a new car the dealers sure don't advertise the Accent. I was looking for mine over three months. Hope you get your 3-door soon. The dealers seem to advertise only the bigger Hyundai's, I guess that is where they make their money - on the bigger ones. One suggestion is to call a dealer and find out exactly the date the 3-door is expected to arrive.

 

This car is amazing! It is so quiet that my wife keeps telling me that it's not running when it is running. Never in my 59 years have I ever had a car this quiet. Just stop at a traffic signal and try to listen to the engine - you can't hear it running!!! Hyundai must have used some very good sound blocking material in this car.

 

I'll make sure to rip all that out when I get my 3-door

 

Do you have any idea as to when you will get your 3-door? I hope yours will be as quiet as my 4-door. I must say that the 2006 Accent is a hard car to find, I have seen only one on the road in the last 2 months. This is a GREAT little car but maybe this size scares people away. I have owned big cars, luxury cars and trucks but this little baby is probably the best of them all...so far! It would be nice to have cruise control but I don't plan on taking it on a long drive, I have my conversion van for that.

 

Now in my 3rd month of ownership and would not trade this car for anything...it's GREAT!
