I have a 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe and I had it in for servicing and the mechanic noticed the Sub-Frame was rusted through and said it was unsafe to drive.
I contacted Hyundai to order a new one and they said that Hyundai is no longer making the part.
How do I go about getting a good used part or an aftermarket part? The bolts are all in good condition.
I also contacted Hyundai USA with same result.
I went on a website called LKQonline and found the Crossmember part but not the Subframe.
You need an american address to order from them.
Appreciate any guidance.
This vehicle is now in the Caribbean as we drive it on a small island and up to now it has been a great vehicle.
I would be happy to get a good used one and ship it to the island.
The vehicle is in great condition otherwise with low mileage. 100,000KM
