If insurance will cover the problem, depending on what needs to be repaired, might be a good idea to get estimates from a dealership.

 

Thanks, hanky! My deductible unfortunately for comprehensive is $2k and fixed a lot of things already, just the last remaining things! I made a post in another forum and am on the case!

Depending on how much and what was damaged, the repair /replacement cost can easily exceed the deductible.

Once you start working on it , don't know how your insurance would handle this..

 

Yes, actually I have already fixed most of it like the ignition switch and full window for only $150 so I will be well under $2k for the deductible. Would you mind approving my thread in the Sonata forum so maybe I could get some more suggestions on the outstanding issues? Thx a lot! 👍
