Hey everyone,
On my 2016 hyundai tucson I have a black rubber hose leading from the lower port of the overfill reservoir, partially way down there is a steel line connected to it about 11inches and then goes back to rubber hose again. The steel section which is attached by clamps on both ends is corroded and I want to replace it. I do not know what the steel section is called. I have included pictures of the steel line. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!


Follow the black tube from the overfill res down to the steel tube. What is that steel tube called?

 

What you might consider,
Take your VIN to a Hyundai Dealership Parts dept. They pull the image based on your VIN and can tell if they have it in stock or not , can order it for you and the cost.
You can play mickey mouse trying to fine that part . It is a dealer item. Certain parts can be obtained easily ordering on line, but shops don't have the time to stay at the computer hoping to find a specialty part. If they did , you would really cry when you received their bill.
