First Time Hyundai Owner---2001 XG300
Well just checking in. I recently acquired a 2001 Hyundai XG300 for $250.00. It had a cracked head Gasket, bad radiator. I did a used motor swap, car had 155k on it put in a motor with 80k. Installed new water pump, timing belt, Hydraulic Tensioner, Plugs and Timing covers motor runs well. I am now having issues with the rear suspension and looking for any answers. I replaced both upper control arms on the rear of the vehicle, The drivers side control arm was completely shot, with the bushings so catty wompus and loose it was scary to drive. Now it seems to have some body roll in it still when you hit a bump with the rear. I know that the bushings are shot in the arm that connects to the upper control arms on both sides. I am wondering if you have to replace the entire arm that holds the wheel bearing or if you can just purchase a replacement bushing. I am gonna post this in another forum. Just thought I would say HELLO and hope for a warm welcome.
