Greetings
Greetings all. As of today, I am the new owner of a 2011 Hyundai Accent SE. The car replaces a 2010 Toyota Tacoma as it is a better choice to pull behind my motorhome, and will be far better on gas. Even better is that the dealer is cutting ME a check for $2500 for the deal. It was too dark for pictures by the time I got home, so pictures will come later. It is silver in color, and will shortly be modified to be towed 4 down behind my motorhome. I am a bit of a hyper miler, so my challenge will be to see if I can get this car over the 40 mpg mark like I did with the 2006 Chevy Aveo that I had a few years ago.
I am not new to Hyundai, and have had numerous examples of first gen Hyundai Excels, and a first gen Hyundai Sonata in my car ownership past. Some people might call me crazy, but I actually liked the first gen Excels as they were so easy to "upgrade" due to their modular design. So, I once again find myself back in the Hyundai camp. While the manual tranny is still a bit of a buzz bomb on the highway, this car is exponentially nicer than the old 80's tin cans that I remember so well.
