Budget for one car to go to the shop
The other I DIY. For economic reasons and I enjoy it.
I have found using a combination of Haynes, Alldata DIY and forums like this
make it possible. If I can't do it right I won't do it at all. I have do this on all our other cars and I am very confident.
Have not wrenched on the Accent yet but starting soon.
Will be replacing the Timing\Drive belts soon and have never done a Transmission rebuild or Engine Rebuild but it is something I am looking forward to.
